      CCPIE 是中国国家食品药品监督管理局（SFDA）直属事业单位，独立事业法人。

      围绕国际食品药品监督管理局的职能和工作重点，从民间渠道开展国际交流与合作，组织实施与企业、科研院校、社会团体、基金会。国际组织等机构的国际交流与合作项目。组织开展内地同港、澳、台地区医药界的交流与合作工作。承担国家食品药品监督管理局非官方公务接待工作。组织医药企业及有关人员赴国（境）外考察、培训、参展。举办食品、药品、化妆品、医疗器械等国际展览会及相关技术（学术）交流会和专题论坛，并开展相关政策法规的咨询。
